The night before erecting the canopy!!
Busy Busy BUSY!!
And finished example!!
some of ours!
A special wish went into this beautiful wreath
Our “trial” Wreath Making Event proved to be a success despite the awful weather on Saturday. We erected a canopy the night before to provide shelter which just about remained in place depite the terential rain and wind!!
All who were able to brave the weather were treated to homemade cakes, scones, tea and coffee before being guided through the steps in making their own wreath from locally sourced follage ( by both Rebecca and myself).
Thank you to you all for your support .. I promise there will be no more “tepid tea”!!.
Due to the comments of appreciation made we will be arranging a Spring Wreath Making and Spring cleaning Event in (you’ve guessed it !!) the Spring, so watch this website for more details. We are hoping that some of you may want to volunteer a few hours in the morning or afternoon of the Event to help with serving Tea and Coffee and a friendly face; please forward your contact details if you wish and are able to spare us a few hours on these Event days.
I have posted a few photos showing our Wreath Making activities. We welcome any suggestions or comments.
