- Spring has sprung at Deerton despite the “Beast form the East”!!
We will be holding our annual Spring Wreath Making Event at Deerton on Saturday 21st April this year… hoping for good weather too!!
Wreaths will be made from a selection of wild flora, herbs and foliage sourced locally designed to bio degrade naturally once placed upon loved ones graves.
Due to the popularity of these events we will be “trialling” time slots for the wreath making activity… the time slots are listed below:
11- 12, 12.15-1pm, 1.15- 2pm, 2.15 -3pm
A single wreath will cost £7.50, further wreaths costing an extra £2.50 each per family. Rebecca will be guiding you through the wreath making activity offering advise, support and a few laughs along the way .
There will be a selection of hand made cakes along with tea, coffee and soft drinks of your choice.
Please email Sian email@example.com, if you wish to attend this event,
Hope to see you there, Sian and Rebecca.

This was a truly special and uplifting day – even the weather behaved!
Families, friends and pets attending, dug, watered and secured their trees of choice into place whilst chatting and celebrating the lives of their loved ones who have passed on during last year.
Trees this year were planted in the Ancient Roman Remains Area, so we now have new copses of rowan, crab apple and cherry trees along with a line of silver birch trees adorning the overflow car park area.
We would also like to thank Bernard and our two student volunteers from Brogdale CIC , Kyle and Tyrone, who worked tirelessly to help those who needed assistance with the planting of their trees.
Thank you for making it such a special day, I have included some pictures, hope to see you at our next event… SPRING WREATH MAKING – being held on Saturday the 21st April.

It is with great regret that we are unable to confirm a date THIS YEAR- 2017 for our Christmas Carols by candle light Event – unfortunately we were unable to secure a choir in time for December this year, but this will be in place for December 2018… I’m sorry to disappoint all those who expressed an interest…
Wishing all our families Seasonal Greetings and a peaceful New Year.
